First Birthday Photo Shoot

Ella will be 1 year old in exactly ten days.  It's hard to believe a year has flown by so quickly.  I will have more posts to come on the big event as it gets closer, but I just had to share the pictures that were taken of her on Sunday!  My wonderful photographer friend, Lauren Bravaro Drummond (http://laurennicolestudios.com/), took the pictures for us and they turned out so cute!!  Let me tell you, Ella was in a little mood that day.  She went from bouts of being really happy to really grumpy.  Probably the most memorable part of the photo shoot was her response to the cake.  She liked the way the cake tasted because she kept eating it, but sat a cried the whole entire time she ate.  Don't worry she didn't just sit and cry while we starred at her...she was enjoying the cake...it just may not look like it!  It made for some funny pictures.  These pictures really capture her personality...wish she had been a little more smiley...but it wasn't an overly smiley day for her!  Hope you enjoy the pictures-- it is so hard to believe that our baby will be 1 in little over a week.  We are so humbled by the tremendous and all consuming love we have for her!  Our life would not be complete with out her; she's our dream come true!
